MONEY IS NOT EVERYTHING, IS IT?

Money! Money! Money! How much will it take for you?  How much do you really need?  How much do you have now?  Do you have enough?  Just about everyone you may ask that question to, would probably give you the same answer, no.  No, I don't have enough money.  But let me ask you just how many people do you know, that if you asked them if they had enough money, would tell you that they have enough money?  Not even Donald Trump boast that he has enough money.  It's as if the more money a person get's, the more money they need.  They tell me more money, more problems.  But if that's true, does that mean if a person doesn't have much money, their problems are few?  Who know's?  Who care's?  We have this picture etched in our mind, that money = happiness.  That money = success.  That money = friends.  That money = respect.  That money = love.  That money = everything.  But one thing I know money does not = you.  You are indeed worth more than money.  And if you didn't know, now you know.  There is no dollar amount that you can put on your soul.  Matter of fact, your soul is not for sale, is it?   Check us out at www.time2wearjesus.com

Is Learning Spanish Important? By: Unique

         Now that half of our population in America contains people that are Mexican. I think that learning spanish will be very helpful. If you are going to have to communicate with people that only speak spanish on a daily basis,  you should learn how to speak that language. I mean, think about how frustrating it would be if you spoke a language that nobody understood. So at least try to learn spanish.  Some new words that I have learned is:

 Hola!= Hello!
 Como estas?= How are you?
 Bien!= Good!
 Buenos dias!= Good morning!
 Buenas tardes!= Good afternoon!
 Buenas noches!= Good night!
 Adios!= Goodbye!
 Chao!= Bye!

The first time I saw snow :Destiny Brown

The first time I saw snow was a shocking sight. It was so fluffy and white and fun to play in. What I mean by saying '' it's fun to play in '' is that you can build snowmans with it, have snowball fights with it or you can save it in the freezer. There's so many things you can do with snow. I bet you would be suprised if you woke up and there was snow on your lawn.

RAIN DROPS ARE FALLING ON MY HEAD

In the State of Georgia we have been going through a drought.  A rain shortage.  Lakes and ponds have been drained.  Water bans have been put in place.  And all at the same time the amount of foreclosures are on the rise.  The majority of people you see around Atlanta, driving in those big SUV's, living in those big houses.  But they can't pay their house note.  WOW!  This is serious.  But no one is talking.  There is a glimmer of light coming from a distance.  We need to start living within our means.  Stop trying to be what we are not.  Bling is not for everyone.  And not everyone in Atlanta is a rapper or into hip-hop.  And neither is every one a pimp in the pulpit. I'am starting to feel rain. Check us out at www.time2wearjesus.com

Movie Review: The Great Debaters by Unique

 The movie, The Great Debaters is an amazing and life changing movie. It allows you to see what it was like in "slavery" time, and how far America has come from that devastating time. It also teaches you to don't give up your dreams and strive to be all that you can be. And that the only thing that can hold you back is yourself; meaning that; always follow your instincts because if you really start thinking about what might happen or what can happen, you might talk yourself out of it. If you do follow your instincts it's a fifty- fifty chance that you might suceed in what you are trying to accomplish.

I Give > U Give

Shout! First things first.  You better be the first to give.  Be them to the punch.  Give first.  Give even when it hurts.  Give just for the sake of giving.  Give looking for nothing in return.  It has been proven that it is way more better to give then it is to receive.  Many people have even found some sort of inner gratitude by serving in their local soup kitchen.  They may have even volunteered on some holiday, when it's cool to volunteer.  But I long to see the involvement when the camara's are off.  We really need that level of commitment when the crowd is gone.  If it would make you feel any better to know that when u give, I give.

Are you kidding, do you believe that it's better to give then it is to receive?

And give to who?

Why should I?

The Doctor Orders Rest!

Every day counts.  And everyday adds up the same old way.  Hour by hour, and minute by minute.  Twenty-four hours make up a day.  Any day of the week, will add up the same  We are all bombarded with thousand of things to do in the course of the average week's time.  So many things we manage a way to leave undone.  And some of the things that we leave undone, you could say is maybe our own fault.  While a lot of things can't be blamed on us.  A few of them can.  One of those things in particular is rest.  There is nothing wrong with someone taking their appropriate amount of rest.  Some people even feel that rest is some sort of sin, or something.  And some of us are even afraid to admit that we may need a little rest. It's Okay!   The finest moments of all of our wisdom are displayed, by how we use our time.  For we will all have to give an account of how we choose to spend our time.  Are we being wise enough to set time aside just to rest?  That's right just to rest.  We all have to learn to be able to rest, even during our times of harvest.  And if we should be able to rest during times of harvest, we must equally be able to rest as well during our sowing times.  We must even learn to be able to rest in the midst of a struggle.  We can not allow ourselves to ever be robbed of our rest.  No matter what happens we must always be able to find a way to rest.  Rest is good for us!  Rest is just what the Doctor Ordered.  Now rest if you must, just don't quit.  You may even find that true rest might even be good for you.  And in order, for us to truly be our best, we must be able to get our rest.  Right direction will always come from right rest.

Have you ever heard of the statement: "who has time for rest"?

Do you feel that rest is necessary?

If you could, would you rest?

DO YOU THINK IT'S POSSIBLE TO HAVE MORE THAN ONE (1) SOUL MATE?

As this year takes off with the roar of a lion. There are many of us still in search of that elusive "soul mate".  Some of us are so quick to point out that they have already found their "soul mate".  And now their life is so complete.  While the majority of us, keep asking ourselves: why not me?  Why can't I find Mr. or Mrs. Right?  We have even begun to question if we will ever be able to find our own "soul mate".  And a lot of us have even given up on the notion of a "soul mate" altogether.  Matter of fact, we have learned to be able to settle for any kind of mate.  As long as we have someone.  But there is good news!  There is a "soul mate" for you.  Just like their is a "soul mate" for me.  Maybe we have to first look within us to find the true lover of our soul.  And as soon as we are able to learn how to tap into our own reservior of love that lies deep within all of us.  As soon as we are able to do that.  As soon as we are able to love ourselves, in spite of ourselves.  As soon as we are able to love our enemies, as we love ourselves.  As soon as we are able to love one another, in spite of what color, what party, or what income brackett we may be in.  As soon as we are able to love our Creator, by showing love toward his creation.  And as soon as we able to learn how to let the love of God have a free course in our lives.  As soon as we are able to do all of that we'll be able to find our "soul mate."  And maybe, just maybe, there maybe more than one "soul mate" for you.

As we learn to love God with all of our heart, with all of our mind, and with all of our soul.  And as we learn to love our neighbors as we love ourselves.  We may find that the love of God is able to closely knit all of our hearts together, using the very thread of love.  God is able to bond us together.  Knit us together, so to speak.  One soul to another soul. "Soul Mates"  Using that common thread: the love that we have for him.  Connects us together.  Forever connected throughout eternity.

What do you think? Is it possible to have more than one "soul mate"?

Excerpt from "Daddy, When I Grow Up Will My Vote Count?" by Roy Brown

Many people say that they love peace, but very few people are peace makers. Let's make peace, not war.  For to be a peace maker is to be like a child of God, let's do what we can do for peace sakes.  How long are you going to carry around the misfortune that you've had in the past.  Let the past be the past.  Let bygones be bygones. What you have to accomplish, is not going to be easy to accomplish on your own.  To save a whole lot of time, why try to do it by yourself.  Would you try to walk to Paris from the U.S.?  I hope that you are not the type of person that likes trying to do stuff that they already know that they will never be able to accomplish.  Because the things that you need to do, you will never be able to do by your own strength, nor by your own power, but you will be able to do all that you are destined to do and much more if you let the spirit of God help you.
